Instagram feeds are a BIG thing these days. And I have to say, I agree – I love instagram accounts with good feeds. Accounts that when you scroll through their pictures, every photo goes together. Every photo compliments each other. But quickly, if you don’t know, what exactly is a “feed”?
Picture #2: The Pool, Float, & Quote
“Let’s do this!”, I said, taking out a piece of watercolor paper from the crinkly packaging. I was writing-painting a quote for an Instagram picture. It was 11 pm. “Pool quotes.. pool quotes..” I searched, browsing pool quote ideas on the internet. “Found it.” I spent the next half-an-hour switching between thick pens, thin pens. When I was finally done, “Now, I’m ready for tomorrow’s picture”, I thought, putting the cap back on the pen.
As we scroll down Instagram, we see some beautifully styled pictures – pictures that look like you just had to put up 1 -2 elements to take it – pictures that seem easy to style – pictures that you think were taken in a very calm environment (haha!) – but have we thought that the process/behind the scenes of those pictures.. aka reality, may be different?
There are zillions of people on Instagram – pretty much everybody loves it. I LOVE it. I’M obsessed with it. No seriously, i’m TOO obsessed! And yes, although it’s only been only more than a month since I joined, not to brag, i’m starting to get pretty good at it and into it. When I was small I had a MAJOR thing for photography. I remember me roaming around with a silver camera strap around my neck, when we took a trip to South Africa. And I still LOVE photography. But then I had kind of lost my touch. Maybe because that camera stopped working, or maybe because I simply got digressed into other things. But whatever was the case, Instagram has brought me back.
