Latest Art & Craft Supply In My Art Studio!

Latest Art & Craft Supplies In My art Studio

Oh wow! Just imagine… if somebody will tell you to go and buy anything you want, whatever amount, whatever price. What fun will it be? I mean.. that’s just beyond my dreams. I don’t know, but i love shopping art and craft supplies!( online, as well as local art shops) Well, yeah – it’s not that I bring it and don’t use it. No, no. You know how much i like doing craft, right?  So, how about some shopping…

You guessed it!  I just bought lots of stuff for my art studio. Papers, mediums, – well let me not reveal everything. So scroll down for my very new, art & craft supply haul!

All the new products in my latest haul

Glue tape runner

This is the scrappin-gear glue tape runner. Heard it before? Simply run it across your project and you’re done – a perfect sticky adhesive. Guess what – if you’re like me, and you change your mind that you don’t want it, here’s what you do – just peel it off! It comes off easily, without harming the paper.

Glossy Accents

Omigosh, i think this is my fav product among ALL the things I bought. It’s called glossy accents. It’s a liquid that you can squeeze onto your projects, and it adds a beautiful shine and dimension to your card.  Oh yeah, and it also works as a great adhesive! See it on the balloons? Beautiful, isn’t it? BTW, not the glitter speckles – that’s not the glossy accents. That’s some glitter paint.

My Latest Art Studio Haul - 20151

Foam Stamps – they come in loads of designs, and stamp really well! I stamped this heart with red ink.

watercolor paints

If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you probably know that I love watercolors. I do! It’s my absolute fav form of painting. And these two colors – I didn’t have them. I really like the blue. Even the green is pretty fun. (I’ve shared tons of posts related to watercolor painting. I’ll be sharing the links at the bottom of this post).

water mist bottle

Talking about watercolor, this water mist bottle can be used a lot in that. It can be used to blend colors(if you just spray it on your card/project). And i see my self for reaching quite often for it. It could also be used in wetting colors, you don’t need a cup of water that. Oh, and I also use it a lot for cleaning my foam stamps after inking them up. Many uses, right!? (Sorry for the little shaky picture).

Fun Glimmery and Glittery - Glitter Strips!

I had no idea that you can get readymade glitter strips in a pack! When I saw it on a online craft store, i gasped. And of course, I bought it.  These can be used in making a border in a card,  add a little bit of interest – along with some amazing glitter! And yeah, It can be used in many other things, but I just can’t think of it right now. Can you?

Thin Double Sided Tape

A thin tape, which is sticky on both the sides. Can be used in a lot of projects. I badly needed it, it’s a good tool to have when you’re crafting. Is this description enough? Less than others though.

Craft & Origami Paper

This little pack of craft papers come in tons of colors, and really high quality! I like to do origami projects on and off so this paper pack will surly come in handy. It contains different gsm papers, too.

These are all the colors, it has(20 pcs). Good collection, right?

Glue Adhesive Clear dots

I found this really helpful. These are called ‘Glue Adhesive Dots’ and are double sided. They’re so clear, at first when I opened the package I was like, “what? there’re no dots in here!” but then I ran my hand across and I could see the stickiness of the glue dot. So, if you put it behind something, you’d be hardly able to see it. Great, right? Oh, and you get 2 sheets in this, one sheet with 10 mm wide dots, and the other one is 5 mm. 64 dots.

Cute Papers

I was in love this this paper! So many designs in one sheet. Also, it’s double sided.

Cute Papers

This is the other side of the paper. It’s from ‘We R Memory Keepers’.

Colorful Polka Dots Paper

Love this paper. I know I said it again but, see what I mean? I love both of them equally!

Masking Tape

I really needed this tape. Mainly because – 1 # when I do watercoloring, all the excess water tends to just collect on the sides of the paper. The tape won’t let this happen. 2 # The paper gets all wavy if you put too much water. 3 # You can make a great border if you put this tape around the side of the paper – the color won’t seep through the tape. 4 # It won’t tear your paper. You could also use this to mask areas of a stamp. Big roll, ya?

Colored felt!

It’s a great product. You can make purses out of it, cards, it’s really easy to stitch with too. That reminds me, I made a purse out of felt. I of course, stitched it, and made designs in it too.  All by stitching. I hope to share it someday.

Last but not at all the least, my mamma bought me this amazing board (she surprised me) along with an erasable marker, some clips to put on the board, and some origami paper (showed above). You can write in it, it has a little clip which you can attach a paper into, do a project without having to worry if it will fly. I was so happy, I can’t tell you. By the way, for the very top picture of the post, I wrote on this board – clicked a pic of it – and uploaded it. Great idea right? He he, thanks. Umm, it’s my mom’s. But, owe me some credit too.

Lovely! I liked the glossy accents and your artwork with it.
Have you heard of / seen hot glue gun. Its worth checking it out sometime. Comes with refill cartridges. Useful for sticking stuff that is difficult to stick like plastic , takes a long time or if you need to stick at odd angles.

    Imagine…say…bottle cap vase 🙂

Hi Shilpa…thanks for commenting. Such comments, from all of you wonderful readers encourages me so much, i can’t tell tell you.

Yes, actually – we already have a glue gun. Haven’t used it yet because we didn’t have any glue sticks to put in the gun. I’m so excited to use it, hope to bring the glue sticks soon. Though, thanks for mentioning 🙂

I am not really going anywhere Pari. I will be home. When I said vacation, I meant days-off from work 🙂
Summer is just starting here, so I am planning on gardening a bit. I already planted a few tomato plants, 2 peppers, mint, cilantro, parsley, rosemary, basil, green chilies, strawberries, hibiscus, pancies, marygolds.

I intended to but more plants. I dont have a big backyard. So, even if I buy I have to be careful about the sunlight, space taken etc.

Yes, its going to be a boy 🙂 I cant wait to decorate his room. I have a LOT of stuff from megha’s birth. I mean a LOT. I am planning on up-cycling a few things at least to use for the new room. Lets see how that goes.

    • Parinita says:

      Oh okay, I thought so.

Wow that’s definitely a lot of plants! I’m actually wanting to grow some of those plants. Though the problem is, here in Goa, the rains are starting soon. So, it’s tough to grow plants now. And when I say rain, it’s rain. I mean, HEAVY rain! Are kitchen got flooded in last year’s rain sometimes.

Send me some pictures of your garden – I’d love to see it.

Good! I’m excited to see how your decorating goes. I’m sure the room will be beautiful.

Yesterday, I’m excited to say, we harvested 9 tomatoes, and 1 BIG juicy, healthy capsicum(green).
Have taken many pictures of it, am eager to share it on my blog.

P.S: And tell me if you harvest some plants too 😉
