Instagram feeds are a BIG thing these days. And I have to say, I agree – I love instagram accounts with good feeds. Accounts that when you scroll through their pictures, every photo goes together. Every photo compliments each other. But quickly, if you don’t know, what exactly is a “feed”?

Sometimes, even the simplest things have a complicated story behind them.
“I have to take an Instagram picture for today!” I was eyeing around the house, stacking up blue books, taking pictures of a blue drawer, blue DVDs in a cabinet, and… so on. “Nothing seemed to click, yet,” I said to Mamma. Taking Instagram pictures has become part of my day now, and my day seems incomplete without it. I had to take something!
Picture #2: The Pool, Float, & Quote
“Let’s do this!”, I said, taking out a piece of watercolor paper from the crinkly packaging. I was writing-painting a quote for an Instagram picture. It was 11 pm. “Pool quotes.. pool quotes..” I searched, browsing pool quote ideas on the internet. “Found it.” I spent the next half-an-hour switching between thick pens, thin pens. When I was finally done, “Now, I’m ready for tomorrow’s picture”, I thought, putting the cap back on the pen.
As we scroll down Instagram, we see some beautifully styled pictures – pictures that look like you just had to put up 1 -2 elements to take it – pictures that seem easy to style – pictures that you think were taken in a very calm environment (haha!) – but have we thought that the process/behind the scenes of those pictures.. aka reality, may be different?
